I am a new user to IPO and have configured my system myself. I have the system up and running but have ran into a couple of questions that I have been unable to find any documented help. I only have 4 incoming analogue lines and they are working well. I have setup all the phones and have forwarding transfering to outside lines but what I am sure is a simple fix but has escaped me – Here are my “newbie” questions: 1. How do I get the incoming calls to ring only at the reception extension or on that one and one other extension? I appreciate any help. I have spent hours going thru the system and looking through the info on ipofficeinfo.com (Great site!). |

I appreciate the help but can you be a little more specific. I have tried working in the Line Group settings and the incoming call route settings trying to get the system to ring on the receptionist desk only but have been unsuccessful. Obviously I am doing something wrong but I have tried everything I know too. Also, by simply setting up an auto attendant does that enable it to begin answering? Is there a setting to tell it what ring to pick up on? |
