HoldMusic.wav PCM, 8kHz 16-bit, mono, 89 seconds (max. 90 seconds on the IP500)

I have loaded these files on 4 other systems, this one just won’t upload the wav file. I attempted to manually upload the holdmusic.wav file into the embedded mem card, which it did. At that point the hold tone stopped and only empty sound was transmitted when placed on hold.

What can I do. I have verified this holdmusic.wav file on other systems!!!

Let me add some specifics….

I have these same IP 500 systems in several locations. All other locations play their holdmusic.wav file fine and uploaded it to the embedded memory automatically. This one in particular will not upload it, or play it. IP Office Manager is running 6.1. (6.0 (8)) on the other machines. Do I need to roll it back? Please help… Im at a loss.

Re-boot the system and wait for 1-minute for the system to load the MOH.

Thank you. I have, over the last few weeks working on this issue, performed numerous reboots. The system has never uploaded the file. I managed to manually upload it but it won’t play. I have done this successfully on four other systems so I know how it “should” work. I’m looking for alternatives to what it should normally do.

Do you have your TFTP address pointed to the LAN1 (IP Office) IP address? The file must be named exactly:
holdmusic.wav

What about placing the file in your Manager directory, and changing the TFTP IP address to that of the Manager PC? Manager must be running for this to work.

Try to upload inside your embedded file management.
