Hi,

I’m really new to Avaya IP Office.
I just want to ask if I need a license if I will add an ip phone in remote site.
Main office will have Avaya IPO 500 V2.

Hope you can enlighten me.

Thank you very much.

it depends on how you van access the IP Office from remote site, If you have an vpn:
- it means you have the same range IP range with two routers, you dont need anything except an IP Phone.
- You can use the avaya ip phone vpn support with power user and teleworker user licence with the gateway in your main office.
- If you have an Valid IP on your unit, you can have the SIP softphone like bria, eyebeem, zoiper… that needs “IP end point license”
